Switch over to the Payconiq by Bancontact app
As you know, we want to offer easy and secure mobile payments to everyone, regardless of the device they use or the bank they are connected to. This is why two years ago we’ve come up with the Payconiq by Bancontact app, a Belgian payment app that brings together the best of two worlds: Bancontact and Payconiq.
The Payconiq by Bancontact app is as safe and fast as the old Payconiq app and it comes with a bunch of extra functionalities and services. So, it’s time to upgrade your Payconiq payments and switch over to the Payconiq by Bancontact app, because the old Payconiq app will disappear soon.
With the Payconiq by Bancontact app, you can do much more than just only paying. The app includes a lot of extra features and services that do not exist in the old Payconiq app. You will still be able to refund friends through the contact list, send a payment request or pay in-store through a QR code. But you will also be able to add your loyalty cards in the app, split the bill between friends and easily buy tickets for the NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn through the app. All you have to do is transfer your existing account from the Payconiq app to the Payconiq by Bancontact app.
