HR Officer (part-time)

We work as 1 team to bring easy, leading-edge and secure payment experiences (via our Bancontact and Payconiq products) that meet the needs and expectations of the Belgian community. For consumers, merchants and our partners. Our accomplishments make us the preferred provider of electronic and mobile payment experiences in Belgium. Belgians pulled out their Bancontact card or smartphone almost 2.5 billion times in 2024 to pay with Bancontact or Payconiq. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn part-time HR Officer to support the HR Manager.
YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES:
- General HR Support: you provide support in various HR activities.
- Training & Development: you contribute to the growth and development of our employees by supporting training initiatives.
- Employer branding: you help drive initiatives to promote employee engagement and strengthen our employer image.
- Employee relations: you provide support in the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for employees.
- HR Processes: you contribute to the development and the implementation of HR policies and procedures. You stay informed about social legislation and ensure that your knowledge is up to date.
- You will report to the HR Manager and act as her backup.
WITH THESE SKILLS AND MINDSET, YOU WILL THRIVE IN OUR TEAM:
- Bachelor’s degree within a HR discipline or similar HR experience of minimum 3 years
- Familiar with HR processes
- Good knowledge of social legislation and labor laws
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English is a must (written and spoken), preferably bilingual NL/FR, one between NL/FR is a must
- Open-minded, a can-do, and positive attitude
- Sense of confidentiality and professional integrity
