Reconnection process easier than ever 

Imagine: you've just got a brand-new phone and are excited to reinstall your trusted payment app. Previously, it could be a bit of a hassle to restore all your bank cards and account details. But that's a thing of the past!  

We've simplified the reconnection process, especially for users reinstalling the app. With just a few taps on the screen, you have all your payment information at your fingertips again. 


Back in time: Your transaction history from the past year 

Have you ever wondered where that amount on your bank account came from? Or maybe you just wanted to look back at all those fantastic purchases you made.  

Well, with the new version of the app, you no longer have to guess. When reinstalling, you get access to the complete history of all your transactions made in the past year with the app. It's like a time machine for your finances! 


How do I access these new features? 

It's very simple. Once you've updated the app to the latest version, you automatically have access to the latest features the app has to offer. 

Update your app: 

  • Android: Open the Google Play Store app. Tap on your profile icon in the top right. Tap 'Manage apps and device.' Apps with an available update have the 'Update' label. Go to the Payconiq by Bancontact app and tap 'Update.' 
  • iOS: Open the App Store and tap on your profile icon at the top of the screen. Scroll to see upcoming updates and associated version notes. Tap 'Update' next to the Payconiq by Bancontact logo to update the app.
