During the ‘Plantjesweekend’ (charity plant sale) of Kom op tegen Kanker, consumers were able to support the organisation with the Payconiq by Bancontact app. This collaboration was to make it even easier to spontaneously contribute to the good cause.
Non-profit organisation Kom op tegen Kanker organised the ‘Plantjesweekend’ from 13 to 15 September. That weekend consumers were able to contribute to the funding of support and care projects for cancer patients and their loved ones by buying an azalea.
And that was handy because although Kom op tegen Kanker communicated about its initiative, many bumped into a sales stand with azaleas by accident. Those who did not have any cash or their wallet on them could easily make a donation with their smartphone.
